Welcome to Victorian Cape May! This afternoon, we’ll arrive in beautiful Cape May! This charming Victorian town sits on the glistening shores of the Atlantic! Arrive at the Marquis de Lafayette Oceanfront Hotel and check into your suite rooms for a fun-filled three-night stay. Take some time to freshen up before enjoying a delicious welcome dinner at the hotel. The remainder of the evening is ours to enjoy the hotel amenities, walk on the beach, and explore Cape May. After breakfast the following morning, depart with your step-on guide and enjoy the day exploring Cape May. Visit and tour Cape May’s Emlen Physick Estate, the magnificent Stick Style mansion attributed to renowned Victorian architect Frank Furness. A tour of the 15 beautifully restored rooms gives you a glimpse into the lifestyle of this Victorian-era Cape May family. Then enjoy a narrated trolley tour of Cape May’s Historic District and see Cape May’s National Landmark District: the gingerbread houses, the oldest residential street in town, and the elegant Grande dames of the Victorian commercial center. Enjoy time at the Washington Street Pedestrian Mall for lunch on your own and shopping. This afternoon, visit one of Cape May’s wineries for a tasting! Later, return to the resort to relax and enjoy the ocean views before enjoying a wonderful dinner at one of Cape May’s great restaurants! The following morning, after breakfast, enjoy the morning at leisure, before heading along the shore to Atlantic City for a scenic Skyline Cruise offering magnificent views of Atlantic City and the shoreline. After the cruise, enjoy the afternoon at leisure along Atlantic City’s famed boardwalk and free time at the casinos. Enjoy a farewell dinner together tonight. This morning, enjoy breakfast and a leisurely morning before departing for home taking with us fun memories of our trip to Victorian Cape May and Atlantic City!
