Your journey begins with an immersive video projection that traces the migration of New York
City’s theaters. It explores how the theater district moved from the Financial District up to Union
Square and Herald Square, eventually settling in modern-day Times Square. We will then go to
Hurley’s Restaurant for a delicious 3-course lunch. After lunch we will then visit RISE NY. Rise
NY is a three-part immersive attraction in Times Square that blends museum-style exhibits with
a high-tech "flying theater" ride. It is designed to showcase New York City’s cultural history and , global influence in under 90 minutes. The experience is structured into three distinct acts: We will start in a replica of New York’s original City Hall Subway Station. You’ll watch a short
documentary by award-winning filmmaker Ric Burns (narrated by Jeff Goldblum) that explores
the city’s evolution into a global cultural hub. The middle section consists of seven self-guided
galleries co-curated by major New York institutions (like the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and the
Museum of American Finance). Each room focuses on a different industry. See artifacts like a
check signed by Alexander Hamilton and the physics behind the Otis elevator. Explore the
history of mass media with replica TV sets and iconic movie clips. View star-studded
memorabilia, including a hand-painted Keith Haring jacket made for Madonna, Bruce
Springsteen’s guitar, and Beyoncé’s gowns. The finale is a world-class 4D flight simulation
ride (like Disney’s Soarin’). You are lifted 30 feet into the air inside a 180-degree, 40-foot
projection dome. You’ll "soar" over all five boroughs, seeing landmarks like the Statue of Liberty, Central Park, and the Times Square Ball Drop. The ride features 8K aerial footage and includes wind, mist, and scents to simulate flying through the city across all four seasons
